MLSC 399 American Military History 3.0 Credits

American Military History focuses on the American Military Experience from 1609 to the present. This course continues exploration of the dynamics of leading in the complex situations of historical and current military operations. Cadets examine differences in cultural environments, military law, principles of war, and rules of engagement throughout the course of American history. Aspects of interacting with non-government organizations, civilians on the battlefield, and host nation support are examined and evaluated. Integrate the Basic Knowledge of Military History to Your Education as a Future Office and constitutes 24 hours of instruction.
