CTCN 565 Movement Observation and Assessment III 2.5 Credits

This course provides an overview of theory and research findings related to dance/movement therapy assessment for application to the understanding of the individual, interpersonal, and family functioning. Students will practice using selected movement assessment approaches and explore collaborative and context-sensitive processes for meaning-making. Through critical examination, the therapeutic implications of various movement observation frameworks will be discussed.
