MTED 419 Teaching Secondary Mathematics 3.0 Credits

This course emphasizes the major issues in learning and teaching mathematics in the secondary school. Topics will include instructional practices, learning theories, philosophies of assessment, and curriculum in the secondary school. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on the appropriate use of technology. This course has a Stage 3 field component, successful completion of the field component is required for recommendation for certification.
