EEDD 888 Educational Leadership for Equity and Social Justice 3.0 Credits

This course is designed to introduce students to conceptual and theoretical frameworks that address historic and persistent inequities in systems. To inform their own leadership and research as scholarly-practitioners, students will: a) engage in critical self-examination and reflection; b) explore a range of conceptual and theoretical frameworks related to issues of power, privilege, equity, and social justice; c) employ these various frameworks in the interrogation of the nature and complexities of contemporary problems of practice; and d) draw on these frameworks to inform the articulation of their researcher stance.
